In memory of... Cookie

Cookie went to hamster heaven, it was believed, last night in her sleep.

Despite that I checked her around midnight last night, she was found this morning not moving in her plastic yellow house.

She was known, to us and others, as a bundle of joy to our lives, always keeping us entertained and capturing our attention with her vanity and gymnastic ability of being able to walk around upside down on her cage bars.

She was buried by the rhubarb in the garden this afternoon at around 7:30pm. The dull weather reflected the mood.

Now when I make toast, I have nobody to give the crust to.
