Read on, read on... sorry about the bad layout, from time to time the blog goes funny. Try downloading FireFox to fix any problems with viewing the site. I keep the blog to maintain memories I'm likely to forget and share them with the world. Typing stuff is also easier than writing with a pen and saves paper:) You can select which blog subject I've written under on the left, although most things will be Thoughts and Feelings or Rant (its too easy to rant about stuff)

6.1.06

6.1.06
5 days (local time) into this holiday and everything seems to be going very smoothly. We can everything catered for us. Whenever we need a taxi anywhere, Rikki, our taxi driver will take us there. Drinks are cheap and served to you at our table or sunbed or wherever we may be. We're even offered special deals by some places deparate to attract customers.
So far probably the best place - as in beach shack with sunbeds - has to be Goan Waves who do good prices, do a 3-for-2 on pool (some places do free pool, but are in their few) and great customer service - nowhere else, anywhere I've been has someone wiped my seat before I sit down! They also play reggae! Food portions are good too, as the standard portion of anything off the menu is smaller than English, as are sandwiches as the loaves of bread aren't as big as they supermarket stuff I'm so used to.
If only more [attractive] women worked. I would have one fanning me and another feeding fruit to me.
My only complaint is I haven't used the resort's swimming pool yet! It may be 'why have cotton when you can have silk' having a beach so close, but socialising with other holiday-goers on the beach is far less common than around a pool.
