Read on, read on... sorry about the bad layout, from time to time the blog goes funny. Try downloading FireFox to fix any problems with viewing the site. I keep the blog to maintain memories I'm likely to forget and share them with the world. Typing stuff is also easier than writing with a pen and saves paper:) You can select which blog subject I've written under on the left, although most things will be Thoughts and Feelings or Rant (its too easy to rant about stuff)

Someone got the forecast wrong.

I'm not talking about the weather. I mean about the shopping habits on Christmas Eve.

I guess you'd expect the streets to be filled with stressed looking men/husbands looking for last minute presents for their beloved kin/wife/sweethearts?
How times have changed.

Not at all was that true. Of the three days leading up to Christmas, 22nd has been the busiest in my opinion.

Honestly. You'd expect Richmond to be booming. Contrary to belief, work was quiet, the sales counters in stores were less busy than one would expect and HMV has seen better days. I'm just glad I'm not in retail.

The media forecasters got it wrong.
Mind you, saying retail isn't cashing in on Christmas like it wants to, I reckon its all moved onto online retail. Had I a working computer you KNOW I'd have purchased most of my presents off eBay months in advance!

I just wish the could cut out the wrapping part of presents. I just cant handle that stage!
