Got 'women' on the go
If books were women, I mean. I'm speaking metaphorically for those who haven't clicked.
So metaphorically speaking, I've had three 'women' on the go for several months.
It started at Christmas time when I picked up a thriller of a women, quite novel, she gave me a first person perspective but I never knew she was a spy novel...
Next was a chunky girl called 'Redwall'. She was too childish though and full of riddles. Not only that, she was way overdue. So she's been on the side for a while.
Then I found a compact hardback by the name of 'Fahrenheit 451.' She was hot, and it didn't just show through her name. She had me burning til the end. Just the right size, fit right in the palm of my hand, I loved her in and out of context.
But earlier today she ended it with me. 158 pages down the line it was all over. I'm sad, it ended so abruptly, but I'm happy someone else will pick her up at the library some day...
I live on, another page turns. I'll be going back to my other women later;)
